Halford village is situated 7 miles south of Stratford and is an idylic village with pub, garage, post office, forge and historic bowling green. There is a picturesque parish church dating from about 1150. There are a number of walks both around the village and surrounding areas. Armscote and Ilmington provide excellent pub/restuarant facilities both within easy reach.

There are a number of tourist attractions nearby - Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Chipping Campden, Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold as well as Blenhiem Palace.

From the M40 exit at junction 15 and take the A429 to Barford, Wellesbourne, Ettington and then into Halford.

Turn right just before the Post Office and follow Queens Street round to the left. Honey Cottage is on Mill Lane next to the village Hall.

The drive will take approximately 20 minutes from the motorway exit.
